Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider details, profile information, and settings. We also collect marketplace content you create, including listings, photos, descriptions, prices, saved items, requests, reports, community activity, and messages.

If you use location-based features, we may collect approximate or precise location information to show nearby listings and improve marketplace relevance. If you enable notifications, we store notification tokens so we can send account, request, message, and marketplace updates.

If you add payment handover details, we store the bank or payment information you choose to provide for sharing with transaction counterparties. GoodFind does not use this information for unrelated advertising.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the marketplace, create and display listings, connect buyers and sellers, support chat and communities, process reports, prevent abuse, improve search and recommendations, send notifications, provide support, and maintain security.

Advertising and Tracking

GoodFind may use Google AdMob and related advertising services. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency permission before using data for tracking where required. If you do not allow tracking, ads may still appear but may be less personalized.

Third-Party Services

We use service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend infrastructure; Apple and Google for sign-in; Google AdMob for advertising; and platform notification services for push notifications. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Sharing

Marketplace content you post may be visible to other users. Messages, requests, and transaction details are shared with the users involved in those interactions. We may also share information when required by law, to protect users, to investigate abuse, or to operate the service through trusted providers.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide GoodFind, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms. You can request account deletion by contacting us at goodfind.ae@gmail.com. We may retain limited records where required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.
